My favorite chapter in the Bible is John 15 and favorite verse, John 15:7, "If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be given you." Other favorite things are traveling and returning home (the best part), teaching Bible truths, watching good movies, the colors blue and peach which speak serenity to my heart, and reading. I am an avid reader and have been since I began reading at age four. I especially like to read biographies but have been reading a lot of Christian fiction lately, and the Bible, of course.

Meet Bev and Bob

I've held several different jobs over the years: preschool teacher, day care director, church secretary, administrative assistant at a community college, among others. While holding down these positions, I wrote and wrote and wrote, some of it good and some not so good, but I felt God's call to write so never gave up, though tempted to many times.

Knitting, crocheting, and sewing remain great interests but unfortunately, there are many projects sitting in the closet unfinished because of time constraints-and all that reading!

I tried my hand at oil painting which I enjoy tremendously but I realized early on that I will never be a Rembrandt or Renoir-or even a Grandma Moses so I've hung up my brushes for now.

My husband, to whom I'd been married 50 years, passed away in 2008. The same year, through God's grace, I met and married Bob, the love of my life.

I'm an enthusiastic Grandmother to David, Tony, & Jordan. David is the loving father of Gabriel, my wonderful great grandson. Tony works with his dad in their business, Little Spider Productions and is married to Bonnie. Jordan is enjoying being a college student.

Gabriel is a wonderful little boy who has a sunny disposition. His smile lights up any room. He enjoys books read to him by anyone, keeping up with his Dad & Uncles and loves to spend time with his grandparents.

My home is in Denver, Colorado and I live there with my new husband, Bob.
